Ernie's is featured in "The Disaster Artist"

Though the story of Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero's enduring, idiosyncratic friendship at the center of James Franco's big screen adaptation of The Disaster Artist began in San Francisco, it no way negates the fact that Franco set out to tell an L.A. story; it has the Hollywood dream in its DNA.

Nerdist was challenged by Cartoon Network and the show "We Bare Bears" to eat a 30lb burrito, as the bears do in the show. Ernie's was hired to make the burrito.

Thanks to Shauna Weaver and her Grandma Inez for donating an Ernie's piece of history! This ash tray was found in Grandma Inez's collection, and both ladies were gracious enough to send it to our North Hollywood location to add to our collection of historic Ernie's memorabilia. This ash tray lists the three locations originally opened, and probably dates back to the late 60's, early 1970's.
